Words to share are few. Simple satisfaction.
Shockingly quiet inside this often-cluttered mind. Again, experiencing peace at the end of the day. Truly blessed.
Big days ahead; a non-stop, rock-your-world kind of weekend filled with gatherings of all kinds to celebrate the reason for life.
"My purpose is to give life in all its fullness." John 10:10
Though responsibilities are many, hours full, plans and preparations in constant motion, my heart is still. Thank You.
No effort of my own could ever duplicate such peace. No vacation, hobby, activity, or event could find success in settling this soul. Happiness is found in many ways, but all short-lived, unsatisfying without the true Source.
"I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives."
John 14:27
So it is true. Promised peace is received in the opening of the hand, the accepting of the gift, the gifts, that are forever offered.
Overwhelming gratitude.
