Here are the promised snapshots of our family trip to the stables as a part of K1's birthday celebration. As you will see, every one of us got up on a horse (though a certain person refused to ride), and we also were blessed to have our 2 oldest nieces along! Glad we got to enjoy one of your favorite hobbies, sweetheart, even if it was freezing cold!! :)
K4 was absolutely THRILLED to be on a horse like her
big sister - even wore her purple cowgirl boots!
K3, on the other hand, was a bit overwhelmed by everything and quickly chose to get his feet back on solid ground - we couldn't convince him to ride at all, so he just stood still.
K2 had a great time and handled his horse like an old pro!
Our 13-year-old niece did marvelously well on her horse...
...as did her lovely older sister! We were SO glad to have you both here!
And yes, Mom took her turn as well...sure has been a LONG time, though!
Dad was convinced that he was too big for any horse to handle, but finally agreed to give it a go, and the horse survived! :)
And K1 was thrilled that we all got to join her!
Here's hoping we get to do it again soon!!
