K2 earned a first-round qualification for the 2nd grade Spelling Bee this year, and we were very proud. He did a fantastic job, but somehow was receiving some of the most difficult words in every round. He excelled clear through until the end and was knocked out by the word 'disappear' (how ironic) in one of the final rounds, leaving him in 7th place. Way to go, bud!
